About to vomit. What do

So I came home around 9 and had a yogurt, and a bowl of cocoa pebbles. After that, I remembered that I had to take my ADD meds (straterra). I took it and now I'm sitting here with saliva that tastes like a mixture of industrial chemicals, and yogurt. I'm also partially lactose intolerant (cereal and yogurt is my weakness), so I am burping alot. Every burp makes me noxious. Anyone have similar experiences?

I say hurl. If you blow chunks and she comes back, she's yours. But if you spew and she bolts, then it was never meant to be.

not going to get in a long discussion about it, but get off that bullshit strattera. i took it way back in the day and hated how it made me feel. I'm sure you already have, but you should really do some thorough research about that stuff. honestly its been so long that i forget all the bad effects that it could bring, but be careful with it. and no I'm not recommending that you switch to another add drug.

I actually started to take straterra cause I couldn't handle Adderall. But my doc says that straterra is the least harmful out of all of them.

so your just going to take your doctors word for it? i mean doctors always know best right? do your own research.

Yeah cause several hours of researching a topic is the same as spending years training in it.

that's the same logic that led people to think Vaccines give cancer.

ok I'm way to tired to be arguing about this. ill be honest and say i tend to have biased view against how doctors prescribe add drugs but heres a quick copy paste just from wikipedia on the side effects. i never found strattera to actually do anything. op if you stopped taking strattera do you honestly think your school work would be effected? as terrible as they are at least the use of the stimulant drugs actually has some merit with add assuming you don't over do them. (strattera is the non-stimulant alternative add pharmaceutical)

I'm not saying that simply looking this up gives you the training of a doctor, but are all of those side effects really worth it for a drug whose effectiveness is quite debatable? I'm far from being the only one who did not find benefits from using strattera.

While I agree on the fact that you should try to take ADD meds as little as possible, you completely missed the point. Literally all he said was that Strattera is the least bad out of the ADD meds.

Not really sure why you posted that list of side effects? It really didn't prove anything because nobody was saying it didn't have side effects. Every drug has side effects.

you understand that the reason there are so many ADD drugs is that different people react differently to them, right? just because a drug doesn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for OP..

Its the straterra that's making your burps taste like the smell of burnt plastic or chemicals. I used to get this occasionally when I was taking it, chug a can of coca cola. I have no clue why but it always worked really well.

Well I survived the week without vomiting, but I hate straterra cause it still gives me the taste.

even though the nausea was most likely induced by the cereal and yogurt your lactose-intolerant ass ingested?

Ask your doctor about welbutrin. I take it for ADD and it has no bad taste or side affects.
