SHOULD... being the key word there, easier said than done and also a long process of education and until weve gotten rid of all the stupid people we need abortion to do our part... that and a big war between india and china... and maybe some african countries... ah hell, world war 3... bring it on... oh but just to clarify, im not fighting.

I think when pro life people say stuff like 'the woman made mistake, she should have to deal with it' they are oversimplifying it quite a lot. Most people don't use abortion as a form of birth control just because it is so bloody expensive. Most abortions occur because another form of contraceptive didn't work. A friend of mine was on the pill and her boyfriend was wearing a condom but the condom broke and the pill didn't work. You can't say that she was irresponsible and should have to deal with her mistakes. And if we make abortion illegal then what do we do when giving birth could threaten the life of the mother? But by far the thing that gets me the most about abortion is the fact that if it is outlawed then i guarantee that you are going to see a lot of women dying from infections and complications from backyard abortions.

ya but shouldnt she have know that even though you do those two there is still a chance of pregnancy, the only way to prevent pregnancy is abstinance as gay as that sounds. its true tho

I think abortion is wrong because you made the choice not to protect yourself from pregnancy, and now you have to pay for the mistake. It isnt fair to be so irresponsible and then just kill the baby you made that could be someone great. but then again, most of the time the baby isnt mature enough to have any senses (smell, touch, hear, taste, see) so it won't make a difference.

I was in the petting zoo, or as I like to call it, the touch me zoo this afternoon. All the animals were retarded. Some lady was breast feeding her baby on a bench nearby, an obvious signal. I sat down uncomfortably close to her and yawned my arm around her shoulder. In her attempt to squirm away, she dropped her baby on the ground. I pretended I was concerned for a second, then I punted it over the fence. She still didn't seem interested in me. Whatever.
 
I think if a woman gets raped, or if the pregnacy is life threatening, she has every right to get one. BUT, If she wants to get one just because she doesnt want a kid, she should have the baby anyway, then go jump off a cliff to save us from her ignorance. Honestly, there are thousands of people who are on a waiting list to adopt a baby. If you arent responsible enough to take care of a kid, dont have sex, thats what it all comes down to. If you dont want it, simpley deliver it and put it up for adoption.

i think it is so easy for us guys to say 'if you don't want a baby then don't have sex' because we don't have to deal with the consequences of pregnancy. we can have sex and not worry a jot about having a baby

Some believe that even though there may be life, or potential life, or however one wants to refer to the fetus, that by denying a woman the right to an abortion is denying her control of her body. I am against people trying to control women or their bodies. But the fetus is a completely separate life from the woman. It has a completely different blood type and genetic code; it is not just part of the mother's body. It is temporarily residing there, and birth is just the change of residence from an already living, active person. Just because the unborn is dependent on the mother for nine months, does that give anyone the right to choose to end its life? Being dependent on others should not deprive a helpless human being the fundamental right to live, as we do not base humanness on whether another person is around to take care of that life. Trying to justify abortion by arguing that the unborn does not have this right is a form of discrimination based on age and the fact that they cannot speak for themselves.
