today at abasin there was like a ten minute delay and about 7-8 min through someone saw my ns sticker and asked if i knew how to get to chads gap from the bottom of alta and i said " dude..... ski patrol blew that shit up!" made my day

Shit was fucked up this morning but about 1130 shit cleared up and it was pretty fun. I didn't wait longer than 5 or 10 mins in a life line.

dammit, on a wednesday? i was thinking about going friday but if it's still swamped during the week right now im just gonna wait til monday and see if it chills out

tuesday morning? i was there at 9 and had to leave for class at 12 but early morning was prime, by the time I left it was getting crowded and rutted

lines werent bad at all today i was surprised. was anyone else up there? saw some kid with a newschoolers shirt on and i had one on.

yeaaa thats what i thought too, but we got up there at noon and i only waited maybe 10-15 min in line and it thinned out pretty quick. hot as hell too, i wore just a t-shirt and was still hot.

yeah i was thinking lines would blow today, but from 12-3 or so it was legit as hell, pretty short lines and the park was real easy to mob through...

it was pretty cold this morning in breck...don't remember exactly, but i think around like low 20's??? it was 40'ish when leaving vail around 6 pm tonight, so in between 20-40, breck was blowin snow this morning...don't worry bout temp, just go ride...

Thanksya, im not really worriedI am just headed up there tomorrow and was just wondering what gear I should bringso yeah

i would recommend at least two complimentary colored tee's probably xl tall if not larger...and maybe a hoodie just in case...let's be honest, cotton is all the rage nowadays in the outerwear game anyways...

Did a-basin really only get 7" of snow from that whole storm series??? (thats what the site said)
Have they changed the park lately, or is it still in the little fenced all smashed together?
Any help would be great, otherwise denver looks more promising for some skiing.

so given the crappy forecast for tomorrow, it's prob not worth it?
is that park in denver open yet? the one that winter park does...

Its called Ruby Hill. They never opened it last year, so we'll see if they do it this year. Since we got so much snow recently, they might be able to, but I would expect to see it later in the winter, if at all.

sweet

season pass taken away for 1 week for ducking ropes.

couldnt hold back pow opportunity on my first day of riding jj's, it was worth it though.

haha, i know, its not even that big of a deal. I'm not gonna miss anything new from abasin within the week and like you said, i'll have it back in time for keystone opening lollll
