yeah shit like this is insane. i was listening to some in depth report on NPR or something where some reporters got to go in, but were escorted the whole time and only shown certain things of course. such a fucked up country
 
My brother got to go on a ship taking grain aid. He said it was like a night and day difference between north and south korea. The south being way nice and the people being bigger and looking healthy.
He got a tour of the capital and a few other cities. The tour was followed by soldiers and they were told what they could and couldnt take pictures of. He said the group just got stared at everywhere they went.
Also just so they could get into the country they had to cut off all satellite reception except for navigating and a few other things. So they couldnt talk or email till they left korea(all the way from America to their). It sound crazy but he said it was a fascinating country
 
it's so behind, nothing has been updated since the 1960's when they filmed most of the propaganda films which is nuts, because they have so many. This is amazing so far, i'm on video 8
 
I watched this a little while ago, so crazy. The 100,000 person show is like nothing i've seen before, i can't even imagine what its like in real life.

Also everyone should check out the Vice Guide to Liberia (same website). They interview all these ex-generals from Liberia's civil war. Shits crazy.
 
I've never really read or studied much about that area, after watching that first clip i am definetly going to check out the other 14 parts.
