Hey Newschoolers,

I've always felt writing in different, unconventional, engaging ways has been a strong suit of mine and that shows in my ski reviews.

I'm thinking about doing a whole lot more writing this season and in the future now that I'm done with college. I've always wanted to write more, but I want to write useful things to skiers rather than just another blog about powder turns.

Ideally, I'd love to have a running thread about potentially useful topics I might be knowledgeable about in addition to random things that I think of. Curious if you guys think this is a good idea, bad idea, or totally irrelevant and something you'd have no interest in whatsoever.

For real. It felt decently active over the summer and early fall and I was expecting it to be buzzing with the start of the season, but its been dead as fuck since the snow started falling

Site is usually most active during pre season/movie season and post season/new lineup drops. Right now everyone is skiing and not posting. Outwest has been open for a minute and midwest resorts are finally getting the base to open up so everyone is out on the slopes

I mean yeah that makes sense. But personally all I want to do during the season when I'm not skiing is talk and read about skiing, but I just havent found much interesting stuff in the forums lately

So that’s what’s going on. The past week or so has felt so dead and I couldn’t figure out why. I didn’t realize the traffic died down but it makes sense.
