A season in Japan

What would the essentials be? Next winter will be my first full season on skis.

I have frontside skis and a pair of Faction CT 2.0

I 6' and 135lbs (yes I'm skinny af).

I consider myself a pretty well rounded skier.

I will be instructing kids and beginners.

I need backcountry gear, but I'm not sure what brands to buy (shovel, beeper, probe, ABS?)

I need a pair of pow sticks as well and would like something a little more freestyle oriented.

Also if there's anything that you consider a must have for a season abroad give me a holla!

If you're instructing, and at niseko, you won't need pow skis since you'll never leave a groomer. If you get lucky and you do, every Australian and his family will have tracked it out within an hour anyway.

It's not full time so there will be a couple of days where I can get first tracks.
