teenage girls who think there good at photography and then post there pics on myspace/facebook, for instance

this girl talks non stop about photogrpahy, and how much she loves it, look what she says under said picture "I'm really creative, and I absolutely adore photography. I have an eye

for design and I dream of some day becoming the Editor of a magazine."

this was part of the group "facebooks best modeling competion" which there all taking super seriasly, when infact the "judges" have no modeling experiance, and cant take a picture at all.

sorry im just really pissed about things right now

Ah man im feeling ya. There is this one chick who was way preppy last year. Then all of a sudden she comes back to school and is all artsy n' shit. She always has her camera by her, and i always see her taking the stupidest pictures. Such as her friends throwing out peace signs (the wrong way) by like fences and all this stuff. It drives me absolutely crazy cause she thinks she is super artsy and stuff
 
i just laugh about people like this, such jokes, i just blow em off knowing i'm better, but if they get in the way ill tell em whats what
 
i cant believe that is an actual serious group..... along with the fact that those two judges take themselves so seriously..
 
yeah, the preppy girls who completely overuse that application to make their photos 'cool'.. it gets really fucking annoying.

She wants to help people out an give feedback?? She has no nose! Everyone knows not to trust someone who has no nose.... but seriously. There is ONE MEDIOCRE pic in that group. I mean, I don't usually care much about this stuff but if people like that are giving others feedback when they don't even know what they're doing themselves... well, that's a recipe for disaster. I can't believe they even thought you guys were being serious about your entries.
I mean, I'm all about the love here, but sometimes.. ugh, I just can't help but laugh and kind of feel bad for them. I know a girl like this.. she has a whole FB photography group and has about.. 300? pictures of herself with crazy weird makeup doing all these weird poses. Some are nice.. the rest, are just.... ugh.. overly "photoshopped" and odd all around.

 
haha i have to laugh so hard when i see this kind of stuff, one of my best friends is an actual professional photographer so i know a little bit about it as well, and these people who act all pro and shit are such obvious posers that you can't help but laugh or cry about it. they have no idea how bad they look to people who actually know a thing or two.

And yes i have a facebook account, i have never used that account, i only had that account to get 5 free itunes songs,

 
i understand some girls really are into photography, and thats cool. but it pisses me off when girls buy a $2000 dslr just to take pictures of them and their friends. Thats what point&shoots are made for. me on the other hand, i cant afford a dslr so i end up managing with a crappy $150 camera.
 
wow, like every kid that posts up their pics for that dont know how to use a camera, not sayin i know any better, but i know that they are no more skilled than i am lol.
 
well needed. This has always been something that grinds my gears. Ill admit I should not be one to judge "photography" but....aggh...it seems what some people claim is good photography is most likely the result of being lucky and having your point and shoot at hand.
 
girls love photography. most of them think they're good at it. some are, but the majority are bad.

you have no idea how many times i've had to listen to the same story about traveling the world and taking photographs.

nothing wrong with a dream or goal though. just figure out you suck sooner than later.
 
lmfao they look fuckin stupid. if those two tools acutally have modelling skills then i could prob take a pic of a cats ass and win that comp lol.
 
somebody should join the group on fb and post a link from this thread in there lol, then they would be fuckin embarrased lol

I have been thinking the same thing for a long time.... They have their point and shoot camera and take pictures of themselves 24/7 and are like OMG OMG OMG IM SOOOOO SUPER ARTSY AND CREATIVE!!! I
 
b/w is but one of the fantastic techniques used by the photographer. he also uses props superbly - he subtly slides in a gun, a knife, an unlit cigarette and some liquor to enhance the evil undertones of the photo.

that being said, i hate these 'artsy' douches with canon xtis and nikon d40s who think they run shit and photoshop the fuck out of anything they take

also, fuck them, and fuck myself sometimes
 
yea i can't stand people like that. the best is when they go to college for photography and the professor just flat out tells them that they suck.
 
you're missing the deeper artistic meanings.. she's obviously making a point about the washed out state of society today
