A Question to Facebook Users

I have recently been invited by several people to the group that promises you the ability to see who has viewed your profile simply by downloading a certain file and inviting 100 friends to the group. When I first read this promise to see who has viewed your profile I thought it was fake for sure, and now 90% of me still thinks its fake, but if it works and the file doesn't rape your computer with viruses, I would like to know.

So, has anyone tried doing this?Has it worked? And yes this probably is fake, BUT, I'm curious because this would be a cool thing to have on facebook.
 
its fake. it is illegal for facebook to show you who has been looking at your profile WITH THE EXCEPTION of people who have commented or liked something on your page, or made some form of PUBLIC contact. therefore, your downloadable thing is probably a virus.
 
I think it would be "fun?" to know who viewed your profile. Its kinda of a nosey thing to do, yet kind of like a right? (I just think it would be cool, even though I would rather not have this notification system)
