A Question for all the ladies

We try and get every one of them, but we can't. If something happens and you have a problem with it, PM it to one of us.

middle easterners wear scarves and sweaters like its nobodies business. they had that shit on lock before hipsters thought it was cool.

Poor ElGato... already getting crap!

I understand your point. I know it's a lot to manage, it was just nice to hear from the mods that you guys actually care about that shit and don't blow over it.

I actually like it when guys do that.

to me, if a guy is willing to spend that much time and effort into clothes, thn he'll most likely do the same to girls

assuming of course he'll take some time out of the clothes picking and transfer it into making girls feel special

If I see a guy who pays too much attention to clothes I assume he is a raging douche. There is a happy medium between being a skeezy, nasty person who has like 3 articles of clothing and someone who pays way too much attention to what they wear. And I like it when guys wear tall tees off the ski hill. I find it attractive.

Sounds like yous need a bigger boat. Ugh, cna't imagine how much work that entails... As if you were babysitting 150,000 kids at once. Can I paypal you a beer?

No I haven't....Like...every 2 days.

No I didn't....I just put it on with shorts when I got home from school because more comfortable than jeans and a small t-shirt.

i have like 20 solid color t-shirts. and i always wear them. i have alot of black and white. its what i like, and its kids the euro style i guess.

Apparently getting dressed up for girls to notice you is called pecocking was on the last episode of family guy where brian takes quagmires course. But thats not what I mainly wnated to say.. if you're gonna go to a party depending on type of crowd thats there girls (I'n my past experience anyway) have always liked it when I wore a dress shirt shirt underneath and a nice fit of jeans and a bit of hairwax(when I have hair). Honestly baggy stuff I know its comfertable and whatnot. I used to think the same way then I got clothes that fit nice rather than all loose and baggy. Girls notice those things. but hey either take my advice or don't. I know what works for me, might not be the same for everyone else.

I've always thought that the more you put into clothes, the more you're trying to hide yourself behind it. I wear simple shit because it's easy, it suits my style and when girls look at me, they see me and not my $1000 outfit that's been perfectly coordinated to the season, Milan's latest craze and whatnot.
If you ask me, a girl should be more turned on about my ability to change her oil/do her brakes than my ability to put together a fashion show every day. You know, man shit.

In general i have a soft spot for shoes...so for guys the first thing i look at is usually their shoes. I hope that doesn't sound shallow but its honestly true - i think you can tell a lot about someone by what they're wearing on their feet, and the age/quality of the shoes (worn is a bit nicer than brand spanking new)

Vans, boatshoes nikes, all the stuff nsers like (see that shoe thread) immediately draw my attention, then i look at the rest of the clothes. Guys sporting crisp polos and designer jeans might be nice for some people but sure as hell not for me. Sweats or other chill pants or shorts and a tshirt are absolutely fine to be seen with in public. Evidently people look for different things in guys, and for first impressions clothing says a lot about you...it screams your style, mindset, etc even if you dont want it to.

Sparknootes: shoes say more than clothing for me

I like guys who dress casually (jeans/tshirt/skate shoes/basketball shorts, that sort of thing) most of the time, but still know how to clean themselves up when the time calls for it. I also really like boat shoes on guys.

If a guy spent tons of time picking out what to wear and wore nicer things than I do every day it'd be a turn off, but I guess overall it's not a big deal.

If I actually cared about "pink name cred," I wouldn't have let Anathema convince me to temporarily change my username to Ball_Licker.

Maybe you don't remember NS a year ago...but when I became a mod I deleted every "disregard females acquire currency" picture I saw. It was plastered on this website. The kitchen jokes were left and right, so often that it was generic and lame. Believe me, there is a lot less of it now.

Why can't you just observe the results if he is your friend and you are with him around ladies? My bet is that when asked, girls will be like "thats sounds over done" but in reality, they will like the results of his effort. In other words, actions speak louder then words.

clothes isn't the most important thing, but if a guy dresses nice it definitely catches my attention

I always match my hat with my shirt....if I buy a new shirt and I don't have a hat to match it, I'll buy a new hat.
Pretty much always it's a MLB team, and only the actual team hats not the fucked up colors.

it's definitely attractive when guys actually have their own style and care what they look like. wearing nice stuff doesn't make you gay, it just shows that you treat yourself well and put thought into what you're doing. you can go over the top pretty easily but so can girls. all the time.

In my opinion there is always going to be a very fine line between looking fly and coming across as a strait up tool. For example, I know this guy that probably owns 30 pairs of Jordans. Each selected to match a specific outfit or shirt. And thats just stupid.

I agree with this. I dont know what it is about shoes, but I always look at those first.

Also, theres a difference in casually matching your clothes and matching your bright colored shoes to your shirt and hat. Its good to match, but sometimes you can tell they might be trying a little too hard.
