A question about the NBA

How do they break ties when it comes to seeding? It is head to head, who has won the most games between the two, or is it largest point differential?

Toronto and Miami are both after the 3rd seed, and with that the chance to not play chicago or cleveland in the first round. Toronto is 2.5 games ahead, and has 4 games left (miami 5 games left). Being a raps fan, does toronto need to be a game up on Miami to be the third seed?

head to head wins vs. losses

if equal, then head to head point spread

if equal, total points for and against throughout the season against all other teams

if equal, which will never happen, I think they'll play each other or have howard gay stern decide

its as I fear, the raps need to be 1 game up on miami, who have a much easier schedule down the stretch.

And dude, since december, don't the raps have the best record in the eastern conference?

so right now we are playing washington in the playoffs, but if we go behind miami we play cleveland
