A possibly cheap "Movi"ish rig.

All of you are looking into the wrong things, servo drive gimbals are a thing of the past. As of this year, new brushless gimbal technology allows for perfect precision. However, since the technology is new, the highest capable Simple BGS board is barely capable of supporting DSLR's. However, if you invest in an Alexmos Brushless Gimbal board you can use larger motors to support a DSLR. For example, a guy my boss works with just designed this
