You can kind of butter if you pre-pop before rails and lincoln + spin in the correct direction. The skier takes off and drags his nose / tail (depending on the direction) on the snow because he's a little corked, but straightens out on the rail if you do it right.
Spinning right, with the rail on your right, you pop slightly before you normally would and hold H + →
You've got to have the right angle on it to actually land on the box / rail though.
Malcolm - props, seriously. Even though it's still in a primitive form right now, you've managed to make it play in such a way that doing simple things is semi-difficult, but very satisfying when you get them right. I think this has a lot of potential. Have you considered open-sourcing it? Even if you retain a development copy yourself as the 'official' version, I'd really like to see what other people could do with the code you've already written.
