A new land ethic

The Obama administration has given the BLM the authority to designate it's own wilderness or "wildlands" whereas before that authority rested with congress. This has very large implications for Utah, good or bad. 63% percent of our state is owned by the federal government. Regardless most of you probably don't give a shit because you are not concerened with land manangement issues.

We're talking about a lot of changes in land management over large amounts of land.

Lol. We want this land. *protects* I can see how that could get out of hand. Didn't read the article though so I'm not too informed.

The problem is that now someone in Denver or D.C. can decide how to manage land in Utah, before wildness designation was the responsibility of congress; where our state has representation.
