Dude, watch his section in 13, he isnt over rated. If he is winning on one trick so what. Only talk if you know what you are talking about. Tanner kicks ass. He might be wack. But he is a kick ass skier.

Yes I probably would. But...since I am not in tanners position and most likely never will be I can complain that he should be doing different tricks all I want.

i think that the judges should start to give more points to people that throw different tricks every run rather then the same trick for three runs in a row in a big air comp.

variety all the way!! it's like if one kid who can hardly pull out anything but eventually perfects the d spin to the point where no one can throw it better and the guy goes and wins all the comps. no one could beat him.

I think tanner is a sick skier and there is NO reason for you guys to all hate him. No one hated candide after he one the Gravity Games and the X-Games. And no Tanner doenst throw the same trick every comp. In the squaw spring jam he did a flat spin 720indy. Plus if you had a trick that you new would win $10,000 wouldnt you do it??

You all mention how skiers should have variety in contests but that is exactly what SLOPESTYLE is for. If someone threw the same trick off every hit in slopestyle then they should be scored low. However, big air is about throwing the best trick in your bag and taking home the bacon to the wife and kids. To say that Tanner is overrated is out there. Obviously you haven't seen his movie segments...he aint no one hit wonder.

hes good. have u seen his alleyoop flat 5s? very nice. and his switch rodeos look good. he won a shitload of money off one trick. why not keep throwing it, and make enough money to support yourself for a couple years. in 13, hes only 15 years old, and hes still really good.

Ever noticed that almost all good skiers accept snowboarders, and the same vice versa? This also goes for Tanner. Notice that only the kids who suck or have no clue what the hell is REALLY going on in the ski industry talk shit? If you feel hatred towards his canibus smoking habbits, fine. But don't hate him for the tricks that you can't stomp. Peace...

Candide and Michael smoke a lot of *** and are siper cool. Seriously, if I was Tannerr, I would have thrown more then one trick at the comps, I dont know, I'll start with the switch rodeo 720 tail to win the comp then I would do some other sick stuff like flat spin corked spin and other.

By the way, Tanner is super cool but not during comps....

If you guy had watched him at the Warren Miller big air and bumps, you would know trhat he is totally sick, He did a super corked 720 and stopped rotating when he was like 15 feet in the air.... suck I'll tell ya.

By the way, Candide threw different tricks at both X-game and Gravity games, at X he throwed a D- spin 900 and a loop japan 180.

At Gravity, D-spin 1080 and D-spin 900 lui kan.

Mike Nick is way funnier to watch at comps then Tanner ( It does not mean that Tanner is not better then Mike) He almost never throw the same thing.

So, Tanner should do his Fakie rodeo all the time to win the elimination mode comps and throw it only once in 'best of #' comp.

I'm sick of watching Tanner durting big air comps but I still like to see him during slopestyle and movie cause he is nuts.

Um, that revolution is gay. Ya it's stupid. Tanner is a kick ass skier, so he throws the same trick who cares.

I like watching it. I hope wouldn't care if every skier did their best trick in every comp, atleast they'll be styled out

Every one who says that people should show variety in comps is dumb, the point of a comp is too win it, soo you take your best trick and try to win. Later.

 
i dont tanner i just dont like that fact that he wins all the time by throwing the same thing constantly and i think that there should be more slopestyle events because slopestyle is way better than big air

hey DCMan, I origionally saw 13 when it came out... and I even saw Sick Sence when it came out as well. I made not have done newschool, but I watched it all the time. Dont consider me ignorant. Plus, you are like 13, you havent seen the newschool revolution grow up like i have, I am only 16, but I remember when I was little watching some Warren Miller movies and Greg Stump Movie. All the way back till when I was like 4. So. STFU fool. :-)

I remember way back in the day when i wanted to be like scott schmidt and glen plake (when i was like 4)... Blizzard of Ahhhh's is teh greatest ski movie of all time, well maybe it like doesnt fit in with the style of today but for a movie in any given time period it was teh best ever.

By the way, I dont care about fonding a revolution. I like to see Rex more then Tanner in comps so I'll do just like REx, show different aspec of freestyling.

Ok, put yourself in Tanner Hall's position. If you kept winning with the same trick over and over again, why would you quit doing it? He is a great skier, and I think that it is a good thing that he keeps doing that, this makes other skiers progress, and pull something off that is better.
