today i was skiing and i did a backflip and i wanted to try to cross this one up for a change so i traversed to this kicker build outta bounds and i went to go hit except i made one little mistake i did one speed check to many i was still going fast but i didnt throw hard enough so i underrotated and smashed my face into the the fairly packed down landing and it took me by shock so i got up and shook it off and i noitice the lens to my oakleys were cracked so that pissed me off a little.

anywayz the point is even if you think you need to speed check dont...hahahahha speed checking is bad i usually dont speed check unless im trying a trick. so next time you think of speedchecking remind yourself of this story and dont speedcheck

i used to speedcheck alot but now i make a conscious effort to try and not do it.

best way to do it is hit the jump a few times and see where u can straightline from so you hit it perfectly.

For some reason i HAVE to speed check before i hit a jump...i get nervous if i don't and i'm not as comfortable in the air....it's a mind thing. I usually compensate for it before hand by charging at the jump going way faster then i need to, then speed check, then hit it....it usually works out.

 
Haha sirjibsalot your crazy. It hasn't snowed at the shine for like 2 weeks. I only huck shit when its fresh pow. Those landings off standish are really hard. That sucks about the oakley's though dude.

hah ouch dude. i usually do the same thing someo ther guy said is go in faster then i need to so a can make a couple turns its psychological or something. umm yeha hah darn it hasnt snowed in two weeks!!! hah hasnt snowed once here bro

 
Im really trying hard not to speed check this year, its hard but if you do it fucks you up. It scares me and Im not used to it but now I just try to do pure carves or whatever.
