A late in the season plea for buddies!

Hi Everyone.

This is a super late check in to the forum.

I moved to Banff about a month ago from Edmonton.

My girlfriend and I are looking for people to hit the hills with. She's a boarder and I ski. We are both fairly confident (both have level 1 & 2 instructor qaul (not that that means much)).

Banff is mega, but to be honest it's been harder than anticipated for both of us to find snow friends amongst the the rapidly retreating transient population this time of year.

It's leaving it pretty late in the season, but if anyone is up for a casual bumping into on the hills that would be cool. We go up most weekends, and I have to option of week days. We are giving this long weekend (Easter) a miss for a trip back to Edmonton...yay...

Apart from the desperate plea for friends... a General hello to everyone in the Golden,Banff,Canmore area.

Hello and welcome.

It's late but a very good time in the season to come nonetheless. I'm at Sunshine most days so let me know if you want to meet up for a few laps or just say hi if you see me around - white helmet, red pants, last year's S7s, usually in the Dive or Wild West if i'm inbounds.

On either Stockli Laser SX or Head Monsters.
Oh and shit super old shagged blue Salomon boots...comfy mind you.
Working on avi gear as we speak, most of my kit was left in UK when I immigrated. Plan is to have all the essentials before seasons end.
 
Not me, I didn't put any vids together last year though I spent a good part of it in Hayes. I'm intrigued though, I want to see the viedo you speak of.
