a tropical storm apparently did this, WTF?
 
I think it would be a near perfect circle. If a hole appeared underground, the earth would seep into it from all sides equally.

 
i dont think the guardian, one of the uk's most respected newspapers, would make something up like this.

and imagine if it grew bigger and bigger until the world fell inside, like imploded. would we be nothing? or would we be inside out?
 
Just saw the same picture on Fox News. Very real. Swallowed an entire three story building and killed a man.

This shit is fucking weird. Not everyday a giant ear canal shows up in the soil to suck everything in like kids on their first date at the malt shop sharing a malt.

seems pretty legit to me.
 
those are mostly from the one three years ago, I believe it was in the same city/very near this new sinkhole.
 
Yup. Most of the pics of the Guatemalan sinkhole you find are about the one that was 3 years ago.

This one looks so weird because it is like right in the center of the intersection and literally goes STRAIGHT down.
