Apparently I didn't give too much of a heads up on the Voleurz show, so I'm giving some more time to let you know that the Candide movie "A Few Words" is playing in Toronto on the 27th. As far as I know, it is playing at the Review cinema on Roncesvalle There's no time announced yet.

This should be an awesome flick, I hope all of you make it out! Looks like there will be an afterparty at a bar so if you're 19+ we can talk about skiing and drink beer out of our shoes.

Powder's article on the North America tour had a link to an events page where it said 7-9pm. There's a link to it in the other thread :P

they recently scheduled work training for Tuesday night, but yesterday cancelled it!just bought my tickets!

ill be wearing my Jays cap and have a nasty looking beard. say hi

I'll be there as long as they aren't sold out and I can still get a ticket. I'll be the kid looking like bob ross.

It was sick. The movie was great. Candide skis some gnarly lines, and is sooooo fast. It's more of a documentary and they show more lifestyle shots of Candide and how he became so sick.

Candide was there and had an after party. I spoke to him and had some pictures taken, the guy is super cool. Very laid back and has no ego at all. You could talk to him like you were best friend. I think think his skiing sets him apart but, his attitude makes him the best.

Thanks to Freestyle Skiing Ontario for putting it on, very cool.

It was a very cool evening, and Candide's skiing was super fast, super confident in the film. Lots of history, but it wasn't over bearing. It was kind of funny and pretty cool that everyone cheered when they showed the footy of Candide clearing Chad's -- I probably spent way too much time in highschool watching that, but it still gets you excited to watch it. I was glad that they had the super park footy in it too -- that cork 5 over the hip still gets me stoked.

Wished I felt up for the loon after, but I was feeling pretty sick and had to bail.

The movie was very sick. It was great to revisit a lot of great moments in skiing over the last 12 years ago. I started skiing park just after I saw the original Chad's Gap photos and can remember being exposed to a lot of that history as it happened. I remember seeing the super park table shots for the first time at the Happy Days premiere in Montreal 10 years ago.

The new footage was absolutely epic as well. Candide again proved again that he is probably the best living skier. He has won every major event, has produced some of the best film segments, hit the biggest gaps, and thrown tricks never been done before. The opening lines in the movie are some of the steepest and most tech that have been done before. But, the truly impressive feat is how goddamn fast Candide fucking charges these lines. Even when he is bucked a bit by a pillow or some slough, h always seems to land on his feet. Dude is a cat.

Anyway, had a good time at the show and with everyone afterwards at the Loon.

Did anyone find an iPhone 5 at the bar? It feel out of my very good friend's pocket and she would obviously love to get it back! Huge ash reward if it is returned and no questions asked.
