Yo, a couple of hours ago I just recieved in the mail my (new to me) powerbook g4. Now I have a question about virus's and firewall. I know macs are super secure but is it a good idea to get some kind of virus protection and firewall?

i have and imac G3 and i used to be just on a modem and its no problem. ive been on like every website that would give u a virus and havent got one so dont worry about it.

i Believe you need to have an intel chip inside. so in your case, with the powerbook g4, no

thats what i figured... oh well the only thing i wanted to install for windows is office but i can buy the mac version
