A day at park city?

if you were an east coast skier ( like me) and you are visiting schools in SLC over feb. break and you only have ONE day to ski PC what would you do? Keep in mind I havnt skied one legitimate powder day all year...What would you shred for the day?

If there is a storm it would be fun to go to a Cottonwood Canyon resort and ski pow. If not, shred PC's park. Pretty simple.

If you have to commit to a mountain before knowing the exact conditions/current events go canyons. If it snows they have slightly better pow terrain than park city, and if not their park is super fun and less likely to end up having features closed for random corporate shit.

But, if you know it's gonna be a sunny park day and all the parks are open go pc for sure.

Pow day for sure, brighton.

what are the conditions looking like

below average, average, above average?

gunna be in pc for 8 days feb 18

Early season was above average, January has been below average I'd say. I'm hoping for some good dumps coming up got 8" overnight so that is promising.

PC and Canyons parks are awesome and I don't know about Brighton's but people always get insane stoked on their park and I will never ever know why

I like the features for the most part but Candyland flat section and the traverse through the tree's kills all the flow for me

Hah ya I don't think it has exceptional flow considering you have to skate in once spot sometimes and mob through trees, but supposedly the rails are some of the best out right now.

Honestly if you want a great time regardless of conditions, go to Alta or Snowbird. The terrain is fucking awesome, and you can ski park when you're home anyway, so why not experience the REAL reason people move to Utah to ski?
