$87 High Society Classics

Thanks man! I just found my new work ski for a the season. Did a super quick research on them but couldn't find a solid review.Anyone here own them or ridden them?

Normally I never buy skis without intense researching but i needed to buy a work ski. You cant really buy brand new $87.00 skis anywhere these days. Hope the website wasn't a fraud and just got fucken identity jacked.
 
ya i dunno. there's been mixed reviews on the site. like all the old feedback talks about it being a bidding site or something so i was a little confused. i wasn't even required to make an account like what most feedback stated.

all the recent feedback said it was legit tho and they have a pretty big facebook following http://www.facebook.com/nomorerack.

one of my friends recently ordered from them and he received it, so my fingers are crossed.

my bad for not researching it further.
 
Sparknotes: The company had a rough start in its beginnings when it was in Vancouver. It became much more legitimate and had better customer service when it restructured and moved to NYC.

Kinda seems like a Napster situation. Rough beginnings, but came back legitimate. If you look at any of their other stuff other than the insanity item, its priced close to any sale item at a store. They're definitely making a profit, so it doesn't seem like their scamming with like a huge deals on everything pitch.

Still, buyers should be cautious.
