yeah.... if you could use an 80's pop song for a segment, what would it be. one that hasn't been used. something like The Cure, or Felix Da housecat.... etc. let's hear 'em.

and sorry if there are 80 of these threads already.

Don't use an 80s pop song in a video part if you want to look funny/ironic/quirky because it won't work unless the viewer was born in the mid to late 80s or later. Oh wait.

^ thats what you think. a couple years ago i used Ah Ha - Take on me.. then a lil bit into the segment it went to the punk remake of it. the 80s part was sick.

the cure - just like heaven

would be awesome for a powder segment.. Although I get the feeling it has been used in some skiing movie over the years.

i think all but a few of these songs have been used in various 'extreme' videos

one of my friends mixed the cures 'boys dont cry' with ludacris' 'area codes.' soooo good. i would use that

it seems like this stage of life for a lot of people around our age is like when you are playing a video game and you beat the Final Boss, only to find out that was just a decoy Final Boss and the real Final Boss
 
^ yeah.. a lot of the afformentioned songs have been used. and almost any The Cure song would work. Anyone think that Pat Benetar - Heartbreaker would be good.
