70d or 1d Mark II

I'm currently shooting on a Rebel T5, and I'm looking to upgrade. I want the fast continuous shooting for burst shots, so I've narrowed it down to these two cameras. The price and 8.5 fps are a huge plus for the 1d (I can get it for around $300) but the low mp is kind of a turn off for printing. Any recommendations and reviews would be great.

the 1DiiN is a good camera if you can get it for cheap.. but i'd rather get a 7Dmk1, personally. It will be a little more versatile for not that much more money. The AF on the 1D will be better, but not by that much... and yeah, the 1.3 crop is kinda nice for getting a little bit more out of a lens, but for shooting sports, the 1.6x crop is actually awesome for making long lenses even longer.

consider either one as a good option. you can do better than the 70D for less.

Ok awesome thanks. I'm thinking the 1d right now, as I'll still use my t5 for video, but is there a major difference between the 1dmkii and the mkiiN? Right now I could get a mkii for under $200 and the mkiiN is around $400. The biggest reason I'll probably get the mkii is because of the low price, unless the mkiiN is worth the extra cost.

the N is much better. Better screen, Faster buffer, better viewfinder. I might be wrong, but I think it has both CF and SD card slots...

if you can get the base Mk2 for way way cheap, then sure.. but i'd much rather have the mk2N. it's just much more modern.
