70-200 good deal?

I found a 70-200 on my local craigslist. Looks to be in good condition with "everything included. (hood cover, tripod mount ring, caps, case, warranty, box it came in, receipt)"

It is the 2.8 with IS version 1.

Asking 1,100. Not in the market for this lens, but is it a good deal?

Something worth buying and putting back on ebay or something?

Pretty sure that is a great deal because my friend just bought a used 70-200 f4 IS for 950.

yeah, 2.8 IS v1 should be had for 1100-1400 depending on sharpness and condition

Yeah I was gonna say, make sure to check the condition, there's a 70-200 2.8 on eBay uk for 500$, but cosmetically it's completely trashed, so much peeled off, not sure how the glass is.
