how fucked am I? i didnt get arrested thank god but what you thinks gonna happen. it was in a residential

did you get a ticket? How much was it?

I just got caught doing 115 in a 60 and the cop let me off. Mind you thats km/h.

2 points? Umm no. He probobly got wreckless/careless driving. Try 4-6 points off.

Unless you guys have a different system.

thats pretty fast, im not sure exactly how much but a friend of mine got caught going 55 in a 25 (in vermont on a dirt road) and got his license taken away in VT. it depends alot on where you live (or got the ticket i should say). go to court and try to lessen the amount of points taken.

haha, not if you are on their insurance.... ive did 95 in a 25, then turned around and passed a cop. i literally almost died. the most lucky ive been. i feel for yaa, but maybe try teen court?

fight it reguardless

look up your points system for you state and try to get out of the points at all costs, buecause once they get to your insurance company your screwed insuance rates will rise like 3 fold.

on of my friends got pulled over for doing 72 in a 30. He lost his license for 6 months but thats only cause he got 2 tickets in a year. because of the 72 in a 30 he had to pay like 500$ and go to court all that shit, but thats it i think

double the speed limit is attempted man slaughter, wreckless dirivng, speeding, and if there were any passangers, you get tickets for them too.

you just have to show your license and insurance information i think. if you just want to pay it you can just go in and pay it. in montana you don't have to make a court appearance unless you want to try and get it excused. i got a ticket for 45 (maybe it was 40) in a 25 and i got off with 35 cuz then its only a $30 ticket and doesnt go on your record. montana's pretty chill.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can't get manslaughter unless you killed a person... but ya know whatever...

yea its not lookin good ur talking couple hundred in fines...possilbe suspension with work and school privilages and insurance hike up...Better just tell ur folks cuz they will def find out!!

Around here if you go twice the speed limit you automatically lose your license for something like half a year, you also get a massive fine and some serious demerit points.

don't fight it, holy shit. 65 in a 25, they already know you were wrong, if you have to go to court they are just going to tell you how much you owe basically. i'd say at least $400 if your lucky. probably just gonna face it though.

and tell your parents before they find out through someone else!

its prob gonna be 4 points and around 500. your parents have to know cause your a minor. umm so yea your kinda fucked. i do suggest you fight it cause if anything is wrong on the ticket it gets thorwn out.

just face it dude if youre fucked, tell your parents and just remember it will blow over with them soon. good luck.

Yesterday i got so fucking lucky i was going about 55 in a 25 and it was about 10 30 and just cruised right passed a cop parked in a church parking lot either he was asleep or just didnt give a shit but either way im so lucky.. and i have only had my license for about 2 weeks.

might be able to strike a deal (like if you get no tickets for a year, itll only be a $100 fine) i dont know, but youd talk to a hearing officer, and i think they decide, i could be wrong though

aight. hopefully i dont get too fucked over with the $$ cuz i dont have a job and all too much to spend.

What state did you get the ticket in?

Was the actual ticket sited for 64 in 25?

You don't have any priors correct (no previous points on your record, right?)

How long have you had your license, and is your license currently some kind of provisional license? (if you're under 18. mostlikely yes.)

Any idea what zone you were speeding through? If you were marked for 25, is it classified as a 'residential' area / 'business district' / etc.?

answering some of those questions could help

Naperville, Illinois

yes it was cited 64 in 25

I had a ticket awhile back but it was errased from my record

i've had my liscense for a year and a half and i havent gotten an any trouble w/ the law other then that one ticket. I'm 17 also.

And yeah it was a residential
