Can get my hands relatively cheap (400€) on a pair of JJ ULs with Pivot 15s in 185, no major flaws. Should i get it or nah?

Wanna ski it on pow days/backcountry.. mostly stubai

Sounds like just about perfect sizing. I loved my JJ UL when I had a pair, unfortunately I snapped mine a few years back. Such a fun and playful pow ski

Despite the popular (and sometimes misguided) opinion than everyone should be on 185+ skis, 116 underfoot 185 cm skis are actually a lot of ski for someone your size. I'm sure you can ski them, but unless you're an aggressive skier or are still growing you'll probably end up finding them to be too large.

JJ ul is a light ski with lot of rocker. There is no way it's going to be too much ski to handle for him.

Yeah, also think sizing up for pow is not a bad idea. rn im on 175 majesty vandals for all mountain and they feel very short at times

I like noodles, want it for like backcountry jibbing, not big mountain

do you ski like the mountain owes you money? Do you drop panties everytime you hit a carve? Do other skiiers look on in fear, jealousy and excitement as you effortlessly slash down some shit they just assed down? do you scoff at the very idea of speed checking a drop?
