i can currently bang out 3's on most jumps and decent lips on the sides of trails and i can do boxes and most rails, but im having trouble on finishing the last 180 and landing. any tips?
Throw it a little harder than a 3 but rather than spotting the landing try spotting the lip. Look up t the lip and don't look over your shoulder until after you land.
i learned on a bigger size jump and i was trying to do a 3 but over rotated and did a 5. you just have to spin your body more. look around your shoulder
They're easier than you think they'll be, I landed my first one. All you have to do is spin a little harder, and don't open up at 360 like you would for a 3 to slow your rotation for the landing.
If you're trying them on smaller jumps, definitely make sure you get more torque when you pop. I don't think about just throwing it harder, it's more being explosive. Keep your core flexed when you pop the spin.
Yes, what I do to make them look sicker and easier is do a 360 and spot for landing and whip my head back. Really fun to tail grab them carved on like step ups.
just set a little faster then three and dont open up at three look a little past three, the first couple youll land at three with your head looking still then BAM
heres a little story about my first five: Once i landed it i rode out switch like a boss all the way to the cattrack across the park screaming in joy then i see paddy and seamus flanagan and immediately shut up
As your riding into the jump, just think, "I'm gonna land switch," then throw a really hard 3. It's how I landed my first one on purpose, although my first one ever I just overrotated a 3 on accident.
