I've got decent at 5050ing tubes and wanna be able to spin out from this slide. Any tips? I assume it comes more from your shoulders as you can't pedal in the way you can when doing a regular slide but wondering if anyone has any pointers.

Also any tips for 180s to sw 5050 or just man up?

If you get a 5050 without zeaching to the end of the rail its really easy to just turn your body to 180. 360 tho is alot harder, icant do them but i guess you just have be locked really good on a rail, pop hard and spin it around

360 and beyond is just pure wizardry. you have to first obtain a lock of hair from a fair maiden named will wesson before attempting

If you use your hip to rotate, helping with your shoulders too you have the rotation you want. Hope it helps!

I have no doubts that this is 100% the truth

Cheers man. Sounds kinda what I was imagining. Got to like 90 once but wanna get 1s out as my local indoor comps always have a nice fat tube at the end and want to dial this banger of an ended trick. Getting to 3 out would be pure god tier

Don't worty men, we're here for helping. Remember that the hip is what determines your rotation, using your shoulders helps do it faster.

Awesome, was thinking it was more shoulders coz spinning the hips is a bit harder when you're clinging on a tube 5050 but will remember it next time I'm trying it. Now to analyse Will Wessons wizardry incessantly

for 3s you need to set really hard with your upper body and look way over your shoulder then hope that your feel come around. when you're 5050 on a rail there isn't much your feet can do to help you spin, except if you're doing a ski slide, you can swing your leg that isn't on the rail.

I used to think it too, but after some trials while training martial arts I realized I was tottally wrong. Think about it this way, your hips are in the middle of your body, so rotating them rotates all your body instead of an independent part. For getting the same rotation by using only shoulders to rotate you should have to rotate more for making your feet be perfect for the landing. And, as it can sound strange, after you use your shoulders to help rotation get them as close as possible to your bldy to rotate faster (physics shit I don't fully understand, but it works).

Makes sense man. Shoulders can move like 90 degrees easily before your hips even begin to move let alone legs. Will definitely think about setting with the hips when I try this next.
