Is there any twin tip out there that works well on groomers and in some crud? I'm curious because I dont like having several sets of skis, I want to sell my atomics and just get on pair of sticks that I can rip all mountain/groomers on and then take them to the park and have them work well. I guess I'm looking for something stable at speeds, twin tips, carves well and good amount of pop. Any ideas if any ski fits? Thanks

whats wrong with your atomics? The tweaks are excellent at high speeds as well as pretty killer in the park.

Public enemys. ski rips on groomers and it has enough flex for the park

The atomics arnt the tweeks.. they are C9's. I've never really tryed the tweeks or hurd much about them, maybe I'll look into it.

Chronics? or maybe an assassin mtx pro? i know the assassins are absolutely killer on groomers and they have the 80 mm waist for deeper stuff, dont really know how they would rock in park

I used to do crack. I still do, but i used to too.

Definatley get some of the new Ar5's. I just got my new ones and have skiied them a few times. They are absolutely sick, obviously killer in the park and had huge pop but they also ripped the groomers apart. All this while being super stable and they ride switch really well.

Dude fucking any ski will work on groomers...seriously groomers are the easiest thing in the world to ski. Any ski will work for that.

hey man...i was in exactly the same situation as you. i sold my atomics and bought a pair of PE's. best choice i could have made. you can rip anywhere on the PE's...pick up a pair

Ar5 is what your lookin for used mine last weekend so hot. they are so stable and rediculously light you really dont feel them on your foot. obviously the one of the better, I think the best park skis out this year. believe me Ar5s are the way to go. look everywhere on this site you will find a complaint on most skis except a few one of which is the AR5 and this year they dont chip not that it matters but they are the best get them.

The Liberty skis were designed with all mountain in mind. They are not park skis, but mountain jib skis. Wide enough for powder, powerful enough for crud, stable enough for high speed groomers, and flex is designed to butter on command. If you dont make them butter, they stay still.

I like the pocket Rockets. They are super light and very durable

Huck it and Giver ,bomb hills not Iraq, mono skiing is back, and rear entry is cool

i'd say chronics. i owned a pair of pe's last season and they were great, but i got on my chronics for the first time today and they were sick in and out of the park. they can lay an edge down on a groomer just fine, and i even detuned my edges underfoot for rails.

If you are reading this, you've just wasted a few seconds of your life. Sorry.

Ive skied everything out there...

I ride 179 PE's and I'm happy with them. In this years line up, for all mtn freestyle, these are my picks...

-Line Assassin MTX Pro - Super light, tons of pop, skis narrower than it is. Ski it longer to top of head for best results.

-K2 Public Enemy - Nice deep sidecut compared to some twins out there. Carves awesome, loves short turns in the soft stuff, practicly springs you into the air at the end of a turn if you ride em right. Heavyish, but bullet proof.

-Volkl Karma - Heavy SOB's Nice and wide...skis alot like a Pocket Rocket in crud but has the balls for clean arcs in the cord when you get on them.

-Armada AR5 - Good ski, but my least favorite of the 4 skis I'm listing because of the problems Armada had last year. As far as I know, Armada has fixed the delam problem they had last year but I'm still sketchy that so many skis could get into the market before the company started to fix the problem. The ski has lots of pop and rides very similar to the Public Enemy.

Like I said, ski all of these in the length closest to the top of your head for best results all mountain. The only one I would even consider shorter is the Karma.

^KJfreestyler, i didnt mean like neck high powder here. the kids from michigan, and i live in ohio, and by deeper stuff i meant the occasional foot of powder we ski through. i was also comparing it to the regular assassin mtx, which only has a 75mm waist.

I used to do crack. I still do, but i used to too.

Well I was thinking of getting tweaks assuming I can put any bindings on last years model because i can get a good deal on last years. Or getting some 171 1080's but I have to unload a set of 151 1080's that I bought for my girl (now its ex so they are for sale :) ) Anyone know of anybody looking for brand new 151 1080s I'll let them go CHEAP. I will also trade them for some look P12's.

I really like the Dynastar candides. They do really well in everything but super-deep powder (2+ feet). I have been riding them for 3 years, and just upgraded to some MSPs.

v pros are sick all mtn, theyre super stiff for a twin, a lotta energy and pop also, too bad they stopped making it, the karma is sick too, i just like the v pro a little better because it wasnt as fat and the karma was a little too soft in the tip

Dude the libertys can rip it any where. im from michigan. dont judge to quick we have some good parks but, well limited in there size... lol. any way when i say a ski can rip in the crud no one know better than a lower michigan skiier, well bec. thats all we ski on all year round and every now and again get some nice days for groumed stuff. and the park is almost always alright.

but i would have to reccomend a liberty they rilly do rip it everywhere. good luck with finding a ski. my old ski the scrach was alright too. but not as good as the chopper by Liberty

4frnt in the house. MSP's slay anything, anywhere. Wide enough, but not too wide to mess things up in the park. 87mm in the waist.

karmas bust through crud like none other dude. but they might be a tad fat for you. look into a v-pro. its like the karma but a little skinnier

id totally say the new mike nicks. my friend just got them and those things are bitchin. 86 cm waist so its wider should handle 'powder' and hes been killin it in the park with them and on the 'groomers' cuz thats all we have(MN). but mike nicks for sure
