How can such an important event in history be "overplayed". Oh my god they made a movie on it. It's so overplayed we should just not care about 9/11 anymore.

did anyone watch the special '9/11' that was on cbs last night. if you did,

you know what i'm talking about. it was so insightful as to what people

went through. if you didnt see it, you are probably making comments as

to how its overplayed and such.

the flight 93 plane crash is literally five minutes from my house, so

this is obviously a slightly more personal issue for me even though i

have nothing to do with it. seeing someone say that it is overplayed

really makes me sad...but whatever, you all have to right to an opinion.

on another note, the presidents helicopter flew over my house this morning.

it is seriously the biggest chopper i've ever seen.

Im tired of 9/11.It doesnt matter. The USA goes around, poking thier held high noses in everyones business. They had it commming. You cant go and invade countries, kill, and expect no retaliation. Ive ehard on CNN that there will be another attack on the US with weapons of mass destruction...death up to 10 million. Being so "clueless" left them susceptable to attack. Other countries become allies with the US because they are affraid of being bombed out of their witts. In my opinion, Bush is a retard, as well as your entire government. Proof? The US developed a pen that would work in space, costing millions. When they go to the space station, the russians were using pencils. from a candian view point, i think i have to agree with most of that. not all of it.. like ferg is looking at the WHOLE thing, were i think the point of this thread was for the lives that were lost.. so im not sure.. i kinda agree with his view on the whole thing, but this is NOT the day to agrue that. this day goes out to the lives that were lost

Tons of people lost their jobs, and there was tons of money in damage, so whose exactly making money off of this?
 
I saw that documentary (spelling?) with the 2 french brothers, I'd rather see them getting money for doing a Septemeber 11th video then some stupid ass movie like Soul Plane or some shit.

Dude just to let ya know. They have caught terrorists in Canada, wanting to blow up innocent civilians. Terrorists bombed London and killed millions of innocent civilians. There have been attacks in Spain, Greece, and Indonesia. Thing is all of these events matter. They matter just like 9/11 matters. Innocent people died for no reason. Yes there have been innocent victims in Iraq and Afghanistan but they were wars- as controversial as they were-. Sept. 11th was a random attack, and it was an attack on the western world and our way of living. So put aside your conspiracy stories, get off your high horse and come to terms with the fact that Sept. 11th 200X is not a time to disagree and lay blame. It is a time to remember a horrible day in history and the thousands of people who lost their lives.

Your second mistake and the extent of your great wisdom shows how much you really know. First of all, September 11 was NOT caused by any sort of violence. 9/11 was because of Saudi-US relations, nothing to do with violence.

There will always be terrorist attack threasts as long as there is dumbasses like Osama around. And about what you said, how were we "Clueless"? We are clueless because we let a couple arab guys on a plane with box-cutters and we were supposed to figure out they were going to hi-jack those planes?

anyway i watched that 9/11 documentry last night. i remember seeing it like last year or the year before and its crazy. it seriously changed me aspect on life. my uncle is in FDNY but was off duty but was called in. i have so much respect for them. God bless all of them.

so fucked up that they will permantly have lung damage.

God bless FDNY, NYPD, PAPD and everyone who helped and for the families who lost someone. not sure if anyone on here fits that criteria but thats how i feel

This is not an attack on americans, and yes, there was a terrotist threat in canada, but it was solved before anything could occur.

On CNN, there were threats made to the US by Alkaida, and Osama. Just 2 days before, a Soviet leader, i forget his mane, was assasinated becasue the terrorists felt he was a threat. A few days before, there were threats made that there were going to be attacks on certain landmarks.
