My brother is5'3" 120 LBS. and he is looking for ski length suggestions he skis 75% park and the other 25% is spent on groomers. thanx for the help. (++++++++KARMA 4 POSTING)
 
anything around 165.

169 max probably. Flex isnt going to matter too much at that length.

Did you ask him wht kind of ski he wanted?

im gonna follow suit and say invaders. cheap, park oriented, and come in 161 which will work for him something nice
 
line invaders are pretty soft but for 75% park probably a good choice.. line anthems are fatter and slightly more solid and also come in a 161.. salomon suspects might be a really sick ski for him.. mid flex, meant to be really sick.. will definitely come in the size you are looking at..
 
You can find a lot of good deals on skis in the 161 area. You may want to go slightly bigger than that though. I'd try to stay in the 160's.
 
Some 167 Rossignol Scratch FS.. They'll put you back about 250+? so it doesn't hurt your bank.

Plus they'll fit him for a little while before he grows out of them and I could hook you up with a brand new in plastic non mounted pair.
 
well i am 5'4" 130lbs and i ski on 169 fujatives, 171 invaders, and 175 ARV's and i like the length on all of them. i went from a 161 salomon 1080 to the 169 fujative and it took me about a weekend or so to get use to the lenght but im glad i bumped myself up cuz they are much more versitile and fun..
 
im 5'3 and ride a 155 dynastar troublemaker, if he hits jumps more get like a 161 but if your from the east coast like me and hit rails almost most the time get him like a 155-158, i recomendline invader 161 or dynastar troublemaker 155 its a sick ski

I got some 148 scratch fs centered if u want em that short.

But id say something 160-170 especially if u wanna try and get another season since he might be growing still.

Invaders will cover 75% park and 25% everything else. Maybe about 171. Is he goiing to grow more? He is pretty heavy, so maybe longer? Long skis are awesome.
 
youre gonna want around 170 range because he is most likely gonna grow out of the short 160s.... trust me i was 5 3 115 pounds at the beginning of last season and i had 161 invaders and now they are way too short as me being 5 8 130 pounds now. so i just ordered my new moment reno jibs and i would personally recommend some moment planks in a 177 because they will ride more like a 165 which is perfect plus they are pretty much perfect for all different types of skiing.

i would get 161 and dont get the invaders becuase they are way to flexible to be skiing outside the park i would get like the salomon thrusters
 
i would say 166 cm would be a perfect length for him. Ar6, t-hall, suspects, thrusters or maybe even foils all come in that length.
