IMO it dilutes the image of the brand. I'd find it hard to get stoked on a set of skis if they are just selling them for peanuts, and it also gives the vibe that the skis are grossly overpriced to start with, if it's possible for them to offer some form of sale nearly all the time.
Everyone will say they don't, but we all buy our gear with some consideration of what other people think. We all know people are going to compliment a set of on3ps wayy more than a set of 4frnts, if they have any form of idea about the way they sell their skis.
Then again, there's always person B, who would say something along the lines of "yeah it's so sick how they offer such good skis for the price they do". I'm person A, though.
Kinda a shame, my first set of twins were switchblades, rip to a g ski.
