Has anyone had experience with either one of these? 4frnt is having a nice sale right now and a rep informed me that these skis might sell out quickly. So I am looking at possibly buying pretty quickly and I was just wondering about these products.

I am looking for a setup for dominantly park jumps (very few rails or boxes). Small jumps to big jumps, how does this ski perform? I also am looking for a ski that can perform well switch and has at least a little flex for butters. The switchblade seems like a solid option to me, if anyone has any more info about the skis or bindings please share!

I've heard good things about the switchblade. It's the high end 4frt park ski. Similar to Armada Ar7. Would make a great jump ski.

The Deadbolt 13 is a good, underrated binding. Its comparable to the Rossignol Axial 12 or Salomon 12 driver.

If you can get last years for a good price I say pull the trigger.

im guessing somebody that has never ridden one and is speaking from a friends experience that probably trashed a ski somehow

i have never heard bad things about their durability. op, i would say if you can get it for a good price, that is a good set up. 4frnt's are very reliable from what i have heard

Nope their mine. The edge blew out underfoot after about 20 days on them. This was only my first year of skiing too so not many advanced tricks were done on them. For rails I only did like front swaps, spins out, etc... But for jumps they were dece except they're heavy as fuck. I under rotated back flips on them and they still held up. So basically if you are barely doing rails and mainly jumps, there good. But if you are going to be doing rails, make sure you detune underfoot because the edges are small as hell and will crack a lot. Sorry for caps on first post aha didn't notice it was on then once i was done typing, i was too lazy to rewrite...

I have not ridden them, but they sound good for you. They are more of a jump ski with a stiffer flex. A couple of kids at my local mt rode 4frnt and had no durability problems.

LETS BLAME THE EDGES FOR CRACKING WHEN WE SLAM AGAINST METAL RAILS ALL DAY..

seriously, unless you're talking about salomon suspect edges any edge can break even after 1 day if you hit it just right. why do you think that's not a warranty ever? lol

What issue have you had with suspect edges? Thi hate red of the suspect is just stupid now, yes the old ones ha a few issues but they have been solid for 3-4 seasons now.
