Eh... I know some designers because I have a lot of female friends and 2 or 3 are really into fashion stuff. It's not really a *bad* thing to know stuff, even if it isn't particularly important (ie: ski equipment?)

I didn't know about fashion until i met this rich fashion obsessed girl in the DR. She was hot, but you had to get used to the comments about peopels dior sun glasses and vuitton purse.

 
I love that stuff too, but if I could pay for a lift ticket at a different mountain and ski, I'd rather do that cuz Dior, Gucci, Vuitton, that's all for other girls to ooh and aww over, we know you guys don't give a crap and most of the time, we get it as knock off anyway.

everyone is doing louis Vutton style shit, armada had that pattern on its website all last year, tons of companies at vegas had that argyle/vutton style shit. practicaly every major skate company has some kind of pattern that resembles vutton in their ads or on their clothes.
