today in Ogden ut, at the JIBYARD 4bi9 came in had a way fun session..

they were throwing down crazy back swap and k-fed rail transfers!

the jibyard is a great progressive place, even 4bi9 were learning new tricks!

for more info on the jibyard go to www.thejibyard.com

Why would they out that in Utah where theres snow almost all year round. Why wouldn't they build somewhere that really needs it, like the east coast.

because the people that were motivated to get it done were in Utah, and because there's so many people that would pay to do that in the greater SLC area, and because like 50 percent of the industry is in Utah.

True. But if someone built one of those like in New York or something. They would make a killing off of it.

Because people do not want to drive all the way out and carry features up to the snow? It's convenient. You guys have Whaleback.

more like a 2biboner in your case alex!

It would be sick to have one back east, but like that kid said, SLC has enough people in skiing to make it legitly run. And you cant really ski rails from Mid june till late october, so that summer season is only slightly shorter than the east. But you can ski chutes and shit for a pretty long time...

WHAAAAAAATT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????????? ah i was gonna go sometime soon i couluv seen em there!!!!! X

haha didnt know you were peeking when we were livin together!
boner jams are making a comeback, bj09 will happen.

I want to eventually have 4 Jibyards. One on the upper east coast. Two spread out in the midwest, and the original in Utah. Its important to Mike and I that we keep the same flavor and legitimacy. Neather of us want to bring in some bing investor who doesnt give a shit about our culture, so we are going to continue to grow the Jibyard on our own. It important to us that the JIbyard is done right, and there are no words to express how stoked we are on how much you all like sessioning here with us. We are just a little baby right now and we have a lot of plans. We would like nothing more than to build a Jibyard for everyone, but until then come see us if you find yourself in our neck of the woods. Thanks 4bi9 and all the rest of you Jibbers out there for your support.

Because there is a such a lower number of people on the east coast who would actually use it verses utah. Utah is like a skiing capitol, sure there are a ton of kids on NS from the east, but there are sooo many more people in utah and the surrounding areas that havent even heard of NS but still shread. Someday i could see one being in like vermont or NH.

I definately have the northeast in mind when I mean east coast. We are working in the Jibyard very day. I have designed a system that will consist of 10-15 rails hang above each rail field that will allow riders to switch out all kinds of rails in a matter of minutes. Our jump is going to be unlike anything before. I will have hang time of a 40ft table. I have designed a retractible landing. Riders can practice into a foam pit then lower a landing so they can land it. This will also allow us to host big air as well as rail jams. I dont think that I will ever finish this place because of all the ideas I have. Also, no matter what we build, we won't add a single cent to the entry fee. $20 all day in and out all you want. Yes we will be open on monday. Shit, its the 4th of july and we are sessioning right now. I think its what our founding fathers would have wanted ha ha.

We will open more Jibyards as soon as we can, but I won't sellout to do it. The Jibyard was designed financed and hand built by Jibbers, and that will never change.

Think about how much a season pass costs.

Have you ever researched how much hit is to join a gymnastics center, or how much an annual pass at an indoor skate park is....?

If you ever stepped foot inside the Jibyard, you would seriously consider it. $2-3 per day is a damn good deal when you can learn tricks all summer - not to mention the foam pit in the works.....

why not make your own set up. 20 bucks a day is a little over the top along with 10 bucks an hour...950 a year and 500 till november? The set up is cool but its not dope.

Well, not everyone has the resources to make 10+ pro-quality features; not to mention you can change it out however you'd like (urban or not).

We rode for a few hours the other night and swapped the whole thing out twice, hitting 8 features total.
