4 guys going to Banff for the summer!

Might have created this thread in regionals but there is no traffic in there so..

At the end of may, we are coming to Banff to work and have fun for the summer!

Anybody is living in Banff or Canmore and could give a bit of help about the job opportunities (what are the good jobs to search for) and where to stay for cheap? Like renting a room, cheap motel, etc

We don't stress too much about it, we are coming there to enjoy our summer and get some good time

Classic tourist town. Jobs are all serving/retail/tourism jobs so start looking now, lots of places have been hiring since February/March. Housing is pretty hard as far as I know, especially if you want to find a house together, and expensive but a few hotels do offer staff housing. Worst case scenario stay in the hostel till you can find a place or crash on someones floor. Also it's the STD capital of Canada so wrap it up. and unless you want to be spending a ton of money on food stick to the pubs, Tommy's and rose and crown are the best and Eddie Burger has great burgers, grizzly house is mediocre and overpriced like a lot of the restaurants in town. I'm from Calgary so i don't have first hand experience living there but I have family that has lived there for 7 years.

If you go to the grizzly house bring a second change of clothes
 
housing look expensive as f*ck! like 1000 for a room (but we cant be more than 1) anybody know someone with a room or something that we could stay until we find a place?

Or it's gonna be camping hehe
