Hey looking to buying some fulltilts, the only thing im not sure about is the cable system. I prefer the buckles.. Is there any boot out there that is similar to a full tilt with a four buckle system? any other suggestions for a park/allmountain boot would be great too! thanks

Dalbello best place to start, (fit dependant) Similar idea with the 3 piece design but proper metal buckles and better quality in general. No doubt people will bang on about the intuition liner but you can get that in the high end Dalbellos too.

agreed.

the vector series is a 103mm last, as is the blender and voodoo from dalbello.

the krypton series is a 98mm last. Head has the raptor project as the only park boot in a 98 last, but it fits and rides like a softer race boot, so I would assume thats not what your looking for.

another boot that came to mind is the nordica ace of spades.

and if you like your boots wider than the grand canyon and softer than jello then you can always go salomon.

Dalbellos will be normal buckles on top and bottom but the third heel buckle is a cable style closure.

Great boots though and with the shell design, they are very friendly to bootfitters.

120 in race boots? pretty soft race boots imo.

my training/cold weather boots are 130 and my warm weather boots are 150

head has a new line of freeski boots based on the raptor, but with more padding,... so basically a padded up, flex downed race boot!

totally depends on your foot shape, your ankle flexibility, how much you weight, and what flex you are coming out of but... you can check out the Atomic Volt if you have a narrower foot.
