32 Fast track system?

I just got a pair of 86 FastTracks. The season hasnt started yet so i wont be able to comment of the durability, but i CAN tell you it works pretty well. Nothing groundbreaking but its definitely a good system. Also, mine came with an extra set of the fast track laces, so if they do break part way through the season you have a back up. really now, extra laces? how do you switch them out? I had some forum boots a few seasons ago with speed zone lacing and they frayed and clogged up in the eyelets of the boots. I had to cut them off my feet last day of riding haha. I really liked the system but they sucked in the long run. if you can swap in laces on the 32s i might get them anyway though

You know, I hadn't actually paid much attention to it before, but since you asked i decided to take a look, and I'll be honest with you, I'm not really sure. However you do it, I don't think it was designed to be simple. Could be one of those things where once your doing it it becomes apparent, but I don't know for sure. They are definitely the fast track laces though. The liner laces are completely different, and there is no where else you could possibly put the spares. Weird. In any case, they did come with the boots so I can only assume it's possible. I'll see if I can figure it out because now its kindof bugging me.
 
Mine fucking rip like every month or so. they send you replacements for free which is sick but also sucks. I finally just put a knot and ramed it in the hole since the metal ring was tearing up the lace
 
If anybody is still wondering, I now have almost 60 days this season on those 86 FastTracks that I mentioned before, and I have to say, I'm thrilled with how they held up. I heard a lot of talk about 32 stuff falling apart easily so I was a little worried, but I have had zero problems with the laces or any other aspect of the boot. They are still practically good as new, minus the obvious packing out and dirt. The boot itself is also a sick ass park boot.
 
got the joe sexton 86 fast track. had em for 2 years. they look brand new. light weight as fuck too. oh yeah they tie fast too...duhhhh
