3 kings

The talk of vail taking out 3 kings lift has been in the air for a while but does anyone know what’s actually going to happened? I talked to some patroller friends and they said that the lift is being taken out for sure and eagle is going to become a 6 chair running to the top of King Kong. They also mentioned that a mid station being added for access to 3 kings is not confirmed yet. Also talked to some park crew about the future of the park itself and got a variety of answers. One homie said vail plans to move all parks (including kings) over to canyons side but I’m pretty sure he was just baked out of his mind. Other park crew just said 3 kings will stay just not the lift. Regardless I do think this will slowly kill park culture at pc (vails master plan) and people will start moving to other places such as woodward pc. Either way it’s interesting that pcmr hasn’t come out with a statement even though they’re planning to do all this over this summer.

From what I have heard from people who work at the resort (not park crew) Eagle will 100% have a mid station for race course access and park access, it will be on the skiers right of the run instead of left (roughly same elevation as the current mid station) and the lift will continue to the top of King Kong.

IDK if they'll just yeet the 3 kings lift out of here, they might keep it and run it when they have enough staff, but for now they're trying to reduce the demand for staffing.

Moving the parks to the canyons side would make no sense so I doubt they do that.

There is no doubt that Vail is trying to eliminate parks from their mountains, woodward will become the king of PC for park.

Oh yea forgot to mention. Couple park crew guys at 3 kings said the lift was sold to some other resort on the east coast. Obviously don’t know for sure if it’s true but it makes the most sense with vails plan

Yeah I'd take anything the park crew says (other than thrasher) with a grain of salt, but thats a pretty normal thing for resorts to do with old lifts, so thats certainly a possibility. The idea is to reduce the number of lifts and eliminate redundancies so it would only help them more by selling it.

I cant believe eheath post in the threads, the cahe is th cancer that killed NS.

Vail is trying to eliminate you, yes you , heath. they dont want trolls using season passes with bagged lunch from mommy.

Vail has successfully eliminated AREA51 from keystone, and any life that freeway parklane had remaining at breckenridge. they literately reroute lifts for family access, not park rats. they are the vacuum that sucks, and they will suck until they break the ski industry or any chance of park skiing/snowboarding returning .

thankagaper you even get to ski at their private resorts, because soon enough you wont be, you wont be able to afford the gas to drive to the resort, employee housing will house enough slaves to cater to the rich, and we will all work to eat in the coming seasons.

can you imagine, heath, working for food.... instead of stealing from NS.com
