Has anybody else seen this movie? I saw it recently, and wow it was strange. My friend and I stayed for the second ending after the credits. We decided that knowing how movie writers usually are, the second ending was probably the first one that they wrote, and someone made them go back and write the one that they show.

After a summer of dismally bad movies, 28 Days Later really made it up to me. I was really, really impressed, and I can definitely say it was the best movie I saw all summer. My friends dragged me to it because I hate horror movies, but it turned out to be really good. You gotta love Brit films.

I didn't know there was a second ending... I should go see it again! Let me guess... does she kill him when she thinks he's infected after he sticks his thumbs in the army dude's eyes?

excellent fucking movie for sure. Only problem i have is when people call it a zombie movie... it is most definitely NOT a zombie movie!

If you want a zombie movie get cannibal ferox...now THAT'S entertainment!

yeah, and it was filmed with the samed camera that josh berman used for strike 3, so actually it wasn't filmed at all, it was taped. it looks damn good. props to both of them

i think it awesome when people make independent films that get popular, and people see that they are waaay better than studio films.

 
it didn't make any fKcking sense to me when they hit the gate and then it just clipped to 28 days afterwards... like right at the climax when the last guy gets pulled thru the window, i was expecting a wicked cool crazy like escape and maybe a few infected killed harshcore, but then bam.,.. end.

 
when is the second ending? like after the credits?

damn, I missed the alternate ending, and I also thought it was ironic how the 'zombies' were able to take over quickly partly to the fact that there are less guns in England. Wouldnt be that was in Texas

I missed the second ending, but I'm going to go see it again sometime next week. I liked the movies though, and I love brit and independent films.

that was a pretty good movie. too bad all zombie movies are pretty much the same thing. one person gets infected and a all but like 3 die in the end. those guys were a lil scary when they flipped out and shit

how does the second ending go...its already gone where i live. it was already gone before the second ending came out. from what i heard the second ending was put in 28 days after the movie came out because of the whole 28 days later thing

 
just watched it last night, sweet movie, great cinematography, and awesome music.

The second ending was weird. With chicken and all.. I watched it with the commentary on and they said it wasn't really symbolism,they just wanted to create something abstract,because of the irony;the whole movie is very abstract,and things like that wouldn't probably happen just like that.

This Week I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade.My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. We Burst out laughing I said'His having phone sex'. So the Next Day I went around and told EVERYONE in my grade what happened last night. I said to them 'on the count of 3 we'll say MR. GIBSON were you MASTERBATING last night. My teacher we so red, it was fucking Hilarious

haha! guys, it wasnt a second ending, just exactly the same ending without the main character. they used the chicken as a stooge so that the chick could look at something as she talked. the guy couldnt be there for the last scene shooting so they put him in at a later stage.

the fact that he isnt there at the end makes you think, but it wasnt actually planned as a second ending - the producers just thought it would be 'thought-provoking'

wow, i absolutely hated that movie and everyone i talked to hated it too, so im surprised that so many of you liked it. i'm a big movie goer and i like movies that are different and creative, but that was just boring and not scary at all, and the alternate ending sucked. plus i hated the lead character. but whatever you guys like is up to you, so whatever.
