270 On

I cannot do it for my life. Like how do people so easily 270 onto rails that you have to jump at least a foot or two to get on to? Nevermind high rails, the only times I've successfully 270 onto a rail is when I've gone off the left side and spin left (think that's a lip 270 for me). When I do it from what should be the "regular" right side, I almost always end up 270 and having just my tails land on the rail and sliding right off. It's been two years of me trying to learn this and is really starting to piss me off at this point. No other trick in the park that's within my limits has taken me nearly this long to get down and I've barely made any progress. Anyone got any tips as to what I can do to improve my 270? I'll drop a few clips from times I've been close to getting it so you can better critique me, keep in mind some of these vids are from like 2018. Thanks for any help in advance!!

Can yiu scissor 6 inchish wide box rails. Can you 2 onto a box and land with the middle of your feet dead center of the box?

Yes and sorta yes

Nice, look at the end of the rail when you set and dont look down until yiu feel the rail hitting your feet. Also r u doing urban on? Might be easier not to at first.

Now that I think of it I only look straight down at my feet my I spin on, might have to change that. And ya I do urban on almost every time.

Sounds like you drift to the left when you spin, so when you come from the left you're probably angled more towards the right to compensate. When you're first doing 270s you have to make sure you look at your feet to make sure you get your skis over, but if you're making it over and drifting try looking at the end if the rail, and if needed just approach the rail more offset to the right.

I try to think of it atleast onto urban reals is atleast try to have your whole body and skis above the rail at 180 then shifty or snap it to 270 if your having trouble just spinning on

Same. I can 270 on to ride on rails and boxes super easily but it's really hard for me to urban on especially if the rail is above the lip at all. One thing that does help me is trying to 180 over the rail before trying a 270. I just hate how blind I am with this trick.

I tried to learn 270 on 3 years ago and hust my hip. Didn’t try them again before this fall preseason skiing. At some point they just work out. Do you spin naturally on? Are you railing natural? I spin matural on but rail unnat
