23/24 gear hype thread.

Since tanners talked about it on his IG live. There’s a new Magic J UL coming as well! Don’t know if it’s gonna be a mid season release or just a full release next fall. I know the ski has edgeless tip and tails. I’m gonna see it in person soon so I’ll give full report back on it once I get my hands on it.

yeah, I think I'm gonna have to drop some serious cash on that and start doing backcountry stuffs
 
Not huge news, but looks like V's changed is using different base material. Preordered some 189 wide pluses for a new daily. Very excite

Would really be stoked if they're reminiscent of the old peacemakers/gunsmokes. Rustlers are pretty fun and all but really don't compare.

Of everything they could do, why this? They should really just add a custom builder with a handful of color options and more tame prints (camo, splatter, etc.)

Someone from the brand actually wanted to meet with us at the shop this winter to discuss our thoughts on freeskiing regarding salomon. They ended up not coming but it seems they might actually care about it again and this new ski looks pretty cool. Would love to see them give a shit about skiing in general again and not just trail running.

For the people deep in to the free skiing right now Salomon hasn't been there for them, they haven't done a thing since like 2013. To get back in the game they would have to do a huge marketing push and have some exciting products.
 
may not be next years but a new rossi twin tip ski around 108 to 110 with metal in it seems to be in the works

Ah, thanks for the info. Didn't realize pros ride other stuff than the current and upcoming gear. But great that the skis are getting used.

It’ll be released next winter. So you should be seeing them on athletes Januaryish.

also the blizzard rustler series is getting an update for 23/24 winter. I should be getting on the new ones about Jan.

also a new Volkl revolt is coming out next winter in the 115ish world!

Revolt 115 could be a perfect in between day ski for snowbird
