22/23 gear hype!

I hear ya trust me. haha I did like how the unleashed skied though when I demo'd it, really a great freestyle oriented ski that can charge. The only thing I'm going to be interested to see is if it skis too similarly to the enforcer since it's not exactly that soft and playful. The big mtn crowd might still just gravitate toward an enforcer and not sure the pure park crowd will like them. Time will tell, and same again with how marketing will do with it.

Yea, I don't see many kids riding Nordica's in park. The ones I have kill it though!

yeah, demo'd a pair of 108 unleashed this past weekend and told the rep they were super fun, spun well, hooked up on some harder snow, soft snow was okay but the tips have zero stricture to them and lacked some crud performance compared to my m-free 108's. He agreed and said most people will gravitate to the enforcers if they are looking to charge.

That blade optic with the clear topsheet looks sexy as hell. Anyone know of this one will be released or is it just to show off the core?

It’s to show the core K2 does this with all of their skis, I have a couple different midndbenders in the shop like that

Love the reckoners, love the whole rossignol lineup honestly, who did their art?

Blackops line (98,118) and the new (92, Jr Freeride/Intermediate ski) graphics were done by Super Top Secret, an agency out of SLC that does most of our snowboards. Heavy input from Parker, Chris and Tatum and internal NorAm product team. Local artist David Habben did the graphics.

118- 186cm Swamp graphic, 176cm River graphic.

Sender/Rallybird line were created with French agency. Looks really good on snow.

Less confusing naming convention overall.

This is still being prototyped currently. Pehota has been on it the past two seasons.

110 is also in prototyping phase. Max Palm on the FWT was running it this winter in a192ish length.

a 108-110 would be dope if it retains that same playful burliness the others have. 186cm-188cm size would be rad as well, not for my personal desire necessarily, but from a sales standpoint. No one buys 192's very often and when the next size down is 182cm it falls short.

Spot on!

Thats the plan. Similar shape and characteristics of the 118. 110 is just much more retail friendly width for a resort ski. 118 is great if you are sled skiing or getting cat/heli drops all day. Bit wide for the average resort skier.

Same hope on the Dynastar side as well. more sizing was in the plans untill complications with Covid. Hopefully more sizing to come in M-Free line.

I want to have a 118 for in between days and my magic j for deep

Dont post pics like this please... Makes me want to buy these skis although we dont have many or none "good" pow days in central Finland or much use but as a back up for maybe on a once a year trip to the north or alps.

Go to Riksgransen !!! Hit me up if you want to buy them, size is 184

this is the first real year I'm paying attention to ski drops & releases, and I'm kind of clueless when it comes to release timings for anything ski-related.

when do armada and faction usually drop their reskins of their skis? beat the shit out of my prodigy 1.0's and am in the market, the new colorway looks so good on the 2023 prodigies & definitely have been the best skis I've ever been on, but I definitely am interested in the edollos.

September, same as almost every other brand. Some will drop a few skis early or have a different topsheet come out midseason like the AHall prodigies this year.

Not sure this belongs here since ON3P doesn't do a seasonal release schedule anymore, but fuck it.

They abandoned the idea. The BC rep told me they didn't think they would sell enough pairs.

Yeah I'm sure daBeers who's the team manager for NA doesn't know what he is talking about...

hearing that the Smax line might be getting discontinued, wondering if anyone involved with Salomon knows anything about that and what might be replacing it since it's by far the lowest volume boot on the market and the only one that actually fits my foot well that I've found.

S/Pro Alpha will be the replacement

They’re sweet for skinny feet like mine, even comes with laces for the liner. The blue is really clean too

How's the heel pocket volume and width?

My heel stays quite snug (I have tiny ankles) and I haven’t even molded them yet. The heel pocket is quite deep and fairly narrow. The liner quality is also

pretty good

yeah Laajis has no need for this ski haha

That was my home mountain in 20/21. I tried finding people on here who rode it. No luck
