I am looking at purchasing the 2020 Elan Ripstick 96 for next ski season. Does anyone have any experience with this ski that they can share? Also, any purchasing tips as far as when and where to buy to get the best deal?
Learn the difference in how assymetrical skis ski vs symmetrical if u don’t already
best buying time is always when next years stock hits stores, basically this time next season, see some sales around July, Memorial Day and Black Friday as well but you run the risk of not getting the ski in your size the longer you wait can become tougher to find

Hello there!

Sparks notes: very light, pretty soft ski best for beginners through advanced skiers who prefer a much lighter, more maneuverable ski over a more stable one. If you want to be able to ski fast through chop and other variable snow, I'd look to something much heavier. If you tend to stick to shorter and slower turns, definitely a good option.
