2015/2016 NFL Thread

Amari Cooper's hands just measured larger than DGB's and Devin Funchess' so the only way the Raiders don't take him at 4 and I don't riot is if Leonard Williams is available or Mariota is and we fleece some team for draft picks to move up

I'll be looking for Aaron Hernandez to have a big season, catching some long ones. He'll definitely be more of an asset at wide receiver, I think his status as a tight end will be short lived. He takes things very hard, so look for a big catch right after a drop. Since last season, Muscle Milk pulled his endorsement, but Inmates say not to worry, they have plenty of liquid protein waiting for him.

I think the Raiders would try very hard for a QB. Either I think they will try for Winston, and TB will take MM. Mariota's stock took a dive following the CFP, but he obliterated Winston, and Mariota had a more stable season. Winston had too many close calls and come-from-behind wins. I think Amari Cooper will go to the Jets.

Raiders are sticking with Carr. He didn't play great but he also had no running game and was missing his number one receiver all year and after Rod Streater the Raiders WRs are hot garbage. The only way the Raiders don't go WR at 4 are if one of the QBs are available and some team wants to trade up or if Leonard Williams is available because he's the best player in the draft. Only way Raiders choose a WR who is not Cooper at 4 is if he runs slower than a 4.6 and either Kevin White goes off at the combine or DGB absolutely aces his interviews

And if DGB does ace those interviews I would gladly take him at 4. You don't find players that can do what he does on the field very often

For the first time in a while im actually optimistic about the viqueens. Bridgewater showed he can play well, peterson has a good chance of returning and they should have a chance to get either parker or white in the draft, hopefully finally giving them a star wr. They need a good linebacker or 2 as well though

I bet you guys go with Parker just to reunite him with Teddy. Personally I think the Vikings have 2 good LBs in Barr and Brinkley. I think you just need an upgrade over Greenway on the weakside and that's something you can get in the 3rd or 4th round

Brinkley and greenway are both gonna be free agents and both 30+. I bet greenway will be gone and theyll resign brinkley. Brinkleys good against the run but he really doesnt do much on passing downs. Why did ej henderson have to get hurt. That guy was an animal

That's true but Brinkley is gonna be 30 in July so he's still got a couple years left. Didn't Henderson retire like 4 years ago? Even if he was healthy he'll be 35 when the season starts

As long as you're not a dick I won't hate even though Fuck the patriots your dynasty is built on a lie #tuckrule

My boy Laken Tomlinson ran a 5.3 40. Not bad for a 330 pound dude. If he doesn't go in the first two rounds he's gonna be a steal

Anyone who tries to talk shit about the patriots is really just not worth listening to since their I.Q. is below what can be considered a human standard.

The tuck play was a good, legitimate call. Clearly Brady was trying to throw the ball.

Soon to be in LA again, apparently...

I legit just watch the NFL to boo the 49ers now hahaha.

Sharing a stadium with the Chargers is such a bad idea

Anyone think the Dez video actually exists? Or is it just JJ trying to drive down market interest in him so he can get him cheaper?

yes lets talk football.

Vikings fan here.

Adrian Peterson just re-instated......if we bring him back and he plays 2015 with us that is great...if he really doesn't want to play with the vikes, well I know Spielman will not give him up with out a sweet trade that gives the vikings a good return. I think we could weasel this years 1st and next years 2nd from Dallas for him (if they really are that wanting of him)...maybe even Denver could be a contender for him as if Manning is back I doubt they want him throwing 40+ times every game again. He'd love handing it to AP.

I think with a good FA signing or two and a solid draft the Vikings could be looking at wild card spot as long as Teddy B continues on a good path (hopefully no sophomore slump). Hopefully Kalil can turn it around as well.

No way you get a 1st and a 2nd for him. His salary cap hit is way to high. Almost $15.5 million this year and $17 million in 2017. That's almost $6 million more than the next highest paid back (McCoy). Running backs just aren't worth that much anymore in this pass happy league.

Yeah it's gonna be tough to move that contract. Denver doesn't have space to retain half it's players let alone take on an extra 16 million. I think your best hope is like a 2nd rounder and maybe one of the 40 receivers the Jaguars have on their roster but I'd bet you get something like a conditional 3rd rounder and a player or two

for real. fights in the stands are going to be unreal next year.

eh, im not too bummed bush got released, i want to see more of bell, he seems like he can be a great back.

The fucking dolphins man.

Trying to trade Wallace and today they release Hartline. Are they trying to fail? Who do they think is going to catch the ball for them? Top 2 receivers theyre attempting to get rid of.

I dunno who they're gonna get to pick up the price tag on Wallace which means he'll be in Oakland soon.

Cowboys franchised Dez so they get him for one more year but when Romo's spine finally gives out this season I don't see how he resigns when the Cowboys don't have a plan for their QB situation in the future.

Personally I think the Vikings should somehow get rid of AP and get Murray. Somehow work out a trade with the Cowboys because they would have no problem with AP. I mean c'mon look at TO. He was a punk.

Well one beat his kid and had to be separated from the owner of the team after an altercation and the other liked to dance and do sit-ups in his driveway so....

Also Cowboys no longer have the rights to Murray so they couldn't trade him anyway. Gotta find someone else to take on that 17 million

Suh didn't get tagged and Terrance Knighton wants to come to Oakland so either way Raiders are gonna get a top DT to pair with Jelly Ellis. Just gotta add Julius Thomas and draft Amari and Denzel Perryman and shit is looking good

Oh hells yeah McCourty is a free agent too. That would solve a lot of problems if the Raiders could snag him too

Reports are that Suh is a top target for the Dolphins in free agency. Am I crazy for not wanting Suh in Miami? I just think hes too much of a character issue for Miami. I mean we got rid of Marshall because he got stabbed by his wife.

I think you guys need linebackers more than a DT but I dunno. As far as the character thing goes I've had this discussion with my friend where he thinks Suh isn't worth the money cus "he's gonna get suspended and he's a head case" but I think he's only missed two maybe three games his whole career. I think because of the couple of dirty plays he's had in his career combined with how he's so good the media takes shit and runs with it creating this "Oh this dude is fucking crazy and he's got so many issues" but personally I don't think that's the case. I think he's just a competitor who sometimes gets called for stupid personal fouls on the field but off the field people seem to like him and I don't think he's much of a risk for off the field troubles

Id take suh on my team without a sliver of doubt. What that dude does for a defense is amazing.

Also sounds like johnson is not returning to houston next year

Oh he's definitely gone. They're gonna try and trade him but I don't see a team giving up anything to take on a 34 year old's 10 million dollar salary but if they can't trade him soon they're gonna cut him

I think it might end up being a good trade for both parties. If Mccoy stays productive and Kiko returns as he was.

The Bills need offense and the eagles need defense.

I do love me Kiko doh :(
