2013 Ski for Australia

So i need a ski to replace my old obsetheds and seeing as Australian season is coming up in a couple of months i figured i should probably order some before they all go.

I was thinking:

Atomic Blog

Nordica Patron

Line Sir Francis Bacon

Salomon Rocker 2 108

These will be my pretty much non ice ski which is making me think the patron is too wide at 115. Im 5'11. 75kg and kinda just ski everywhere.

Any input would be super helpful.

Also on sizes.
 
well if your skiing in australia... then you want a ski that can handle it all..but still be soft and playful when you want it..? that right?

 
well then you really dont need the blog and all of that. they are way to fat and too much of a pow ski for AUS. our snow isn't that great... go for something that is wide enough underfoot and has a big enough shovel to handle the fresh Aus pow. but also something that handles the grommers, park and ice. because you reallly cant get a ski that cant handle ice in aus. youll just get destroyed trying to traverse and getting to the places you want.but i dont really know what skis you are looking at now..

maybe like an all mountain park ski? or a park ski that shreds on everything?

just what are you looking at? pow ski? park? all mountain?
 
Dude. You want the R2 108. So much fun just like the R2 122, but so more versitile. Its the best ski I have skied on other than the 115 and 122. Definitely go with the 108.
 
I you want a ski that is good all around the salomon twenty twelve is great. I love mine, next year they wont have them but the rocker 92 and the 108 would do the job. Mount them whit some sth driver 14/16 and you're set
 
i ski the occaisonal park lap but mostly just fuck around all over the mountain.also will be using these skis when i come over to north america after i finish school this year
