2012 vs 2013 Line Blend

I know the new 2013 Blend is 10% lighter and also is a maple block core and aspen tip and tail. It also has thin tips, but Really is this a reason to get the newer one. Has anyone been on the 2013 and noticed the difference? +K for help and good answers.

I'm gonna go out on limb here and say regardless of the changes to the 2013s, they will still be very similar skis.

I have the 2011 Blends, which are exactly the same as the 2012s, and I love them. To be honest my only main concern with the ski is the durability of the topsheet, which I believe has not been changed.

Obviously there will be a price difference between the 2012 and 2013, making me lean towards the 2012.

I have not tried the 2013s, but like I said, I believe the changes to the ski are quite small.

The reduction in core material and thin tip will make it a slight bit softer than the last blend and if you do nothing but butter more prone to snapping. I will say this makes a minimal change in how hard it is to snap but they are pretty much the same.

I personall liked the 11/12 cause the 12/13 just seemed too soft to me. They are hellbent soft.

similiar in shape, definatly lighter and a bit softer. enjoy whatever you choose! thanks for riding Line!

there amazing, were carrying them in our shop this year and im stoked to finally be doing so. I will be picking up a pair, there 92 in the waist, cap wall construction and super playful. They are tip and tail rockered so you should buy them bigger unless you like the feeling of a short ski. There also doing the thin tip and tail, at this point I'm just debating weather I want a 78 or 85. Definitely a ski worth getting this season tho!
