possibly looking for new skis. local ski shop has the armada ar6's and the line chronics. im 5'11 160 ski mostly park. looking for some guidance in what ski i should get.

Get the line chronic its a great park ski and it can slay all mountain for those days when you aren't in the park

Do you know how the top sheet holds up? I realize that it doesn't really affect the ski but I like my skis to look good both top and bottom I need the durability.

Armada's are tough as nails but if you are talking about the AR6 the top sheet will chip. If you meant the AR7 they won't really chip but I see capwall on the chronics being tougher than the armada construction. The chronics also got a bigger waist and early rise which will be good when you get to ski in some soft snow.

First off, i have no experience with the AR6's but have owned 2 pairs of chronics over the years, very very fun ski for park but it will have a fair share of top sheet chipping, like any ski. What i really like about my chronics is how they handle outside the park, in addition to all of its park capabilities it is a great all mountain jibbing ski, very responsive and poppy.

Lastly, it is a great ski for linking turns on groomers, i love how well this ski handles groomers, they transfer so well edge to edge that its enjoyable to make some turns on those days when im just cruising around.
