is looking dope http://www.lib-tech.com/nas/they have a new all-mountain ski 100 underfoot called the magical horsepower which looks pretty sick. lib tech would be huge on ns if they lowed there prices a bit.
Indeed the horsepowers are softer than the normal freeride's. super fun and poppy! As far as the price your getting a quality USA hand made product. If you'd like to try some and are in the rocky mountain area follow my facebook page for updates and on snow demos.http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lib-Tech-NAS-Rocky-Mountains/131034713606692?ref=ts
im assuming you work with/for lib tech, and im wondering how the magic horsepowers would do in park, because the 178 jib nas is too small for me, and i
I don't know much about the hirsepowers but my cousins skis the freerides and finds them on the medium flex side. he loves the way they ski all over the mountain and in the park. But he says he wishes they were a little softer an more jib orientatend. And he says the magna traction is awesome. They look like a perfect all-mountain jib ski in my opinion.
the magic horsepowers have a softer flex i think (thats what i got out of the site) so they would probably work, do you know how much rocker the freerides have have?
depending on what you rode before, i can probably say that unless you're shaq the 178 jib nas will be fine
i rode 183's before and switched to the 178 and they ride just about as long. They have shallow tips/tails which makes them feel longer and because theyre stiffer they have better stability. I really like mine and i've ridden and broken a pair of park skis from just about all major ski companies
