I just got a pair of next year's Kung Fujas.... Has anyone had a chance to ride these yet? I read the thread on next year's skis and the only thing I heard was that they suck. I don't wanna mount em up if they suck cuz i'll just get rid of em.

So back to the OP..... what's the difference between the 2010 and 2011 Fujas? 2010's have the mini rocker and different graphics right from the 09's right?

All I know is i have the 09's and I love them!

I had the 09's too but the 11's are a totally different ski they aren't rly similar at all... They are wider (102 underfoot) and they are really soft with some rocker. They are much more of a pow ski then the 09's or 10's were.

to be honest your probably going to be one of the first that could fill us in!
I'd mount em up and rock em for a few days then decide..you would still prob get top $ for a 2011 ski even if you sell em in a few weeks

I've skied them. I thought they were super fun. They were solid on hard pack and held up great at high speeds. They are super fun in soft snow and weren't too soft as everyone says, great for butters/playful stuff.
I'm used to skiing stiff all mountain boards and these were a welcomed change. One of the best new skis I tested for next year

Thanks for the input... How well do you think they would ride in the park? My problem is I need a park ski not a pow or all mountain ski.... I like to ride a pretty fat ski in the park usually like mid 90's underfoot so I don't have a problem with how big they are just worried they might be too soft for big jumps... If anyone wants to buy these skis give me an offer

Ive been told they are a SUPER fun ski on the MT. definitely not a park ski but they should be real sick for in the POW and riding the Mt, they are real soft..... sounds fun to me

alright so I demoed these and here's what I think

right away I noticed these skis have a disproportionatly soft tail. the tips felt fine even with the rocker but the tails felt washy and unrespinsive. they almost felt hinged. there was a lot of flex which I am usually ok with but there was almost no snap back or pop. slightly bothersome, especially if you plan on skiing any park or enjoy the occasional ollie. if you were getting these as a tree and light pow specific ski that can take groomers, I would say keep them, but I didn't really see any versatility in them so in your case I would dump them for something that will better suit what you ride. I actually liked the new obsetheds and thought they were better everywhere than the KungFujas and the obsetheds are wider with insanely more rocker, so that really says something about the KF.

for what you're skiing I would look into the 2012. by far my favourite park ski that I demoed. it is only 92 under foot though so if you want something wider you could look into the rossi s5 (I thought the s3 was a huge disappointment) or the volkl bridge possibly. if you want some more specific suggestions or have any questions, pm me.
